LuJean (Duhachek) Dunlap passed in peace Monday, January 21, 2019, at the age of 83.  She was the loving mom of Jay (Becky) Dunlap, Sheri (Bob) Webb, Bryan (Shelley) Dunlap, and Keri (Jon) Braun, Grandma of 10 granddaughters and 8 great-grandchildren. 

 

LuJean’s greatest joys were living and raising her family on the farm in Newman Grove, Nebraska, and her 31 years of service as Resident Manager at Castle Mountain Lodge in Estes Park, Colorado.  LuJean gave the gift of sanctuary, home, kindness, and unconditional love to her family, friends, and guests. She opened her home to many, and her warm smile and kindred spirit will forever be engrained in the hearts of all who knew her.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Marie Duhachek, and her brother, Gary Duhachek.
