The last time I saw my Aunt LuJean was in the summer of 1985. I had just finished getting my masters degree and offered to drive my mom back to Colorado to see the Dunlap side of the family. We spent about a week with Aunt LuJean and Uncle Harold in Longmont, and even though it was a busy time for them, Aunt LuJean made us feel loved and at home. During the day I helped out in their store or helped stain their backyard fence. In the evenings we played cards and visited with my cousins. Aunt LuJean had a loving heart who always made you feel special. I will miss her, as will my mom, Alma Dunlap Winterbotham. The photo below was taken that summer of '85 in their store in Longmont.
