Grandma was my long-time, sweet friend. One of my first memories of grandma was when I would spend week-days at her house in Windsor before I was old enough to go to school. We would eat cookies, watch cartoons, and play lots of games! As I grew up, she became an even sweeter friend. I got to learn about her life growing up, how she became a teacher, a mom, a grandma, and a manager at my favorite place in the world, Castle Mountain Lodge. Going to the mountains always meant going to spend time with grandma. We almost always played cards while we were there, some games even went late into the night, and there would always be a puzzle to finish while grandma answered calls and made reservations for the lodge. There are so many memories I have with my grandma that I will hold in my heart forever, and I can't wait for the day where I get to be with her again in Heaven. Grandma to me was a hard-working, loving, stubborn, brave and independent lady that I will always strive to be like, and words can't describe how much I miss her. I love you much, Grandma.

Your Grandma was a special person. I am the one who brought her crocheted dishclothes slippers bath and body hand soaps etc., she always knew what I had for her of course there was always something extra in the bag from Von Maur she didnt know about she always acted surprised. She always made our visit a special one. Castle Mountain Lodge wont be the same without her. Linda Hrdy
